I couldn’t agree more. It is so frustrating to be constantly fighting against loud and glossy purveyors of nutritional nonsense

It’s hard to beat tried and true. I am a bit fan of the blue zones approach (get most of your calories from plants). It’s hard to beat Michael Pollan’s simple advice to “Eat real food, not too much, mostly plants”.

Thanks for the gut health article. For the sake of brevity, I focused my article on the nutrient content of soy but an article on the health benefits of legumes may be in order! I studied the gut microbiome back in grad school and am enjoying learning about the health implications of diet through this lens.
