I love seeing an article with pubmed references, even if some of the studies cited are not exactly gold standard (such is life in nutritional science, I suppose!). As a fellow scientist, I am fed up with the flood of online nutritional / health advice that is presented as fact yet has no citations to back it up! I’m treading into the world of science communication to add my voice to the discussion. However, I’m finding it challenging to get my voice heard above the noise — why is it that the uninformed voices are so often the loudest?
