Thanks for your feedback, Allan. I completely agree that choosing high quality, nutrient dense calories is critical. I initially started another “All Calories Are Not Created Equal” article that parsed out these three buckets:
- Health & Nutrition ( I like to look at the relative nutritional pros and cons of each food)
- Net Calories (the Bottom Line discussed here)
- Feel-Good Factor (satisfaction, satiety, hunger, cravings…)
I ended up deciding that it’s too much to fit into one article, so am tackling each piece separately — slowly but surely! Stay tuned ;)
